- This generous act became a trending topic of the netizens
Los Angeles, California had been turmoiled with wildfires for weeks now and as a way to give back to the dedicated firefighters who allotted their time to respond to those, Matthew McConaughey took the initiative to prepare at least 800 meals for them.
Together with a few handfuls of volunteers and Operation BBQ Relief, the actor proactively headed the charity program. They cooked Turkey dinners for the firefighters who don't have the time to prepare their own food because they are busy with their best efforts on keeping their community safe from the wildfires.
Aside from the 800 meals for the firefighters, McConaughey's team also prepared 800 more for local homeless shelters which made the generous act an even more significantly trending topic online.
