Gab Valenciano had been confined for six days in a hospital due to his mental health issues. He recently got out and took to his own accord about raising awareness about the importance of mental health.

It had been a whirlwind of events for the son of Gary Valenciano in the past few weeks having opened up about his two suicide attempts, fake news about his death, and admitting to fighting a battle against his mental health problems.

The dancer posted on his social media that he got discharged from the hospital and he is making his attempt to raise mental health awareness.

He wrote on his Instagram, “I post stuff like this not for sympathy, but to show that choosing to fight is all we have, so might as well fight with everything we’ve got. My heart also goes out to every single person who has supported me through this entire ordeal. Alive to fight another day, alive in every single way.”

The choreographer is also thankful for having a great support system from his mom and dad.

“My pillars of peace, love and strength. Thank you Mama and Papa for always being there for me,” he stated.
