President Rodrigo Duterte figured in a minor accident while riding a motorcycle on Wednesday, October 16.
KAMI learned that it was Senator Bong Go who revealed the news to reporters.
"Sumemplang sa motor si PRRD kagabi habang nagmomotor.
"Alam mo si Pangulo hindi magpapahalata iyan kung nasasaktan siya. Sabi niya, 'Hindi, okay lang ako,'" Go said.
In a report by CNN Philippines, Go also said that Duterte’s hip got hurt as he used his elbow to catch his weight when he fell off the motorcycle.
Fortunately, the President was able to walk after the accident but with a limp.
Based on a video taken right before the accident, Duterte was riding the motorbike without a helmet on.
