In a report by the GMA News Online, Panelo provided photos of him riding the jeepney while on his way to Malacañang.

According to the Inquirer (author Darryl John Esguerra), after traveling for two hours, Panelo shared another photo of him on his third jeepney ride going to Sta. Mesa, Manila.
He was not able to ride the LRT-2 at Gilmore Station and opted to take another jeepney ride. When he rode a tricycle, the unit was not working. Therefore, he asked a motorist to take him from J.P. Laurel gate to Gate 2 of the Malacañang complex.
Four hours after, about 8:47 a.m., Panelo arrived at the Malacañang
Earlier, Panelo said that there was no “mass transport crisis” in the country after three railways in the metro experienced technical difficulties in the past week.
Salvador “Sal” Panelo is a Filipino lawyer. He served as the Chief Legal Counsel of President Rodrigo Duterte from 2016 to 2018. In October 2018, he was appointed as the Presidential Spokesperson, replacing Harry Roque.
