Ratings of ‘The General’s Daughter’ & ‘The Gift’ on final clash draw various reactions

Two of the most talked-about drama series in ABS-CBN and GMA-7 had their final clash on television last Friday, October 4, 2019.
KAMI learned that the “The General’s Daughter” starring Angel Locsin finally ended its remarkable 8-month run on national television.
It was pitted against Alden Richards’ “The Gift” and a lot of viewers were always excited to know which show dominated the primetime slot.

Kantar Media already released the television ratings for the said airing date, and it showed that the Kapamilya teleserye was able to edge out its rival.
“The General’s Daughter” registered 35.9 percent TV ratings on its final episode, while the drama series of Alden only received 14.5 percent.
