Shirley Fuentes, a veteran singer, joined the Tawag ng Tanghalan contest on “It’s Showtime.”
KAMI learned that she sang an Aegis song for her performance.
However, judge Jaya rejected her in the middle of her performance.

According to Jaya, she rejected Shirley for making a mistake during her performance. She added that the Aegis song did not match her singing voice.
Judge Randy Santiago agreed with Jaya, adding that the different song arrangement might have thrown her off.
As for judge K Brosas, she commended Shirley for her ageless beauty.
