Alex Gonzaga has decided to defend her fellow celebrities who use their massive influence to create YouTube channels and attract thousands of subscribers.
KAMI learned that the showbiz personality is now famous for her entertaining vlogs, as she already reached more than 4.5 million subscribers in the said online platform.
Other celebrities such as Melai Cantiveros, Pia Wurtzbach, Julia Barretto, Yeng Constantino, and Robi Domingo have entered the world of vlogging.

A netizen, in fact, made a thread on Twitter, questioning why prominent artists still create YouTube channels when they are already earning in ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
He also cited that the celebrities who are into the world of vlogging are already earning a lot from mainstream media, that is why they should give way to other content creators.
“Bakit halos lahat ng mga sikat na artista may YouTube channel na? I mean, hindi pa ba sapat ang kinikita niyo sa ABS at GMA?” the social media user wrote.
“Ibigay niyo na sa mga content creators,” he added.

In an interview, Alex straightforwardly expressed that showbiz personalities like her just want to adapt to the demands of their fans or viewers.
She also called on celebrity and non-celebrity YouTubers to share the platform just like how she was welcomed before by those who started vlogging earlier than her.
"As celebrity and entertainer, sometimes you really have to adapt to what the viewers want and what your audience want. I think dapat we should share our platform and we should also be happy…" she quipped.
"Siyempre I can't speak for them, pero ako I am happy that many vloggers, the original vloggers ng Youtube are very welcoming and very appreciative and very approachable na parang they welcomed me sa Youtube world. So who am I to talk na bakit ganon diba, kasi maganda naman ang pakikitungo sa akin ng mga OG original Youtubers," she added.
