- NCRPO chief Guillermo Eleazar made a surprise inspection on Monday
- He caught three police officers sleeping during their duty
- Eleazar also ordered that the three policemen be relieved from their posts
National Capital Region Police Office chief Guillermo Eleazar has made a surprise inspection at the Las Piñas on Monday morning.
KAMI learned that Eleazar also ordered that the three police officers, whom he caught sleeping during their duty, be relieved from their respective posts.
In a report by the Inquirer (author Cathrine Gonzales), Eleazar ordered the relief of Cpl. Eugine Ybasco, Cpl. Jayson Monsales, and SSgt. Danny Cerbito of PCP-2.
The NCRPO chief said that he saw Ybasco and Monsales sleeping in the patrol car. Meanwhile, Cerbito was also caught sleeping while on duty as a desk officer.

It has also been reported that Eleazar confiscated the firearms of the three police officers whom he caught sleeping. The three will also face administrative cases for neglect of duty.
In a previous report by KAMI, Eleazar also aired his anger towards the police officer who went AWOL who was involved in an alleged drug trade at the New Bilibid Prison.
Guillermo Eleazar used to be the chief of Quezon City Police. However, he was appointed by Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director Oscar Albayalde as the head of National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
