Gardenia Philippines finally issued an official statement about the viral video where one of their delivery personnel was caught on cam taking pieces of bread from a sealed pack before re-sealing them again.
According to Gardenia, the bread which the man opened was scheduled for disposal and not from fresh stocks for deliveries.
Based on the Facebook post, their company pulls out their bread in and are replaced with fresh stocks every day.
The video of the delivery personnel went viral on Facebook on Thursday.
The delivery man in the video is now under administrative due process because he violated the company rules and procedures.
