President Rodrigo Duterte said that Pasig River could no longer be cleaned due to different circumstances.
KAMI learned that for President Duterte, the river would be difficult to clean because there is no zoning yet.
In a report by GMA News (author Lira Fernandez), the President said that there have been factories and households dumping their wastes into Pasig River.
O how you can clean that? Unless you build new cities outside at mag-migrate and there’s a lessening of you know, people here, maybe you can start. But you can start with the factories. They are all chemicals there,” he added.
