Richard Gomez unhesitatingly aired his response to a social media user who bravely threw strong words upon seeing his recent video on Instagram.

KAMI learned that the straightforward and frank reply of the actor-turned-politician immediately circulated and went viral in the online world.

The prominent celebrity uploaded a video of him showing the highlights of his awesome vacation in Scoresbysund, Ostgronland, Greenland.

It was evident in the video and caption of the showbiz icon that he really enjoyed his time away from his difficult work as mayor of Ormoc City.

“Taking the plunge in the Arctic waters of Greenland at subzero temperature,” he quipped.

In the comment section of the post, a netizen stated that the vacation of the politician also means that he is absent from his work as the mayor of Ormoc City.

The social media user even questioned why the civil service is tolerating the kind of governance that Richard has in his hometown.

Because of this, the actor responded by lecturing the basher about the so-callled “vacation leaves” for employees or government workers.

He also suggested that the netizen must find a job already so that she can understand the meaning and importance of “leaves.”

“Oh? Absent na naman ang Mayor?! Seriously, why is civil service tolerating this kind of governance?” a netizen stressed.

“Do you know if there is a word in your workplace that says ‘on leave’? Try working and get vacation leave, only then will you understand what I’m doing,” Richard responded.
