Julia Barretto posted a lengthy post on her Instagram account.
It is about her gown and entire look at the ABS-CBN Ball 2019.
She also revealed why she chose a simple look for the aforementioned event.
"Last night I had the honor of wearing a Philippine Terno for the very first time in my life. It was a beautiful @rajolaurel Filipiniana gown featuring individually hand-painted sampaguitas with encrusted seed pearls and crystals. My personal goal for this look was simple that is to show respect to our national dress by letting it be the one to shine," she wrote.
"I am thankful for my team—to @rjdelacruz for my hair, to @cathsobrevega for styling me, to @extraordinail for my nails, skin by @theaiveeclinic, and to @luckysevenb, for flying all the way from Thailand to do my makeup. Thank you for all your time and efforts. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have walked the red carpet with their support in a ball that honors Miss Gina Lopez's advocacy for children's rights," she added.
