President Rodrigo Duterte claimed that he is not a “misogynist” and that he loves women.

KAMI learned that during his speech in Bataan on Thursday, President Duterte asked the audience if there are resorts in the province where he could see women in their bikinis.

In a report by the GMA News Online (author Virgil Lopez), the President explained that he is a “lover” of a woman.

Dito sa inyo may resort? May naliligo, naka-bikini bikini din sila? Kasi magpasyal ako,” President Duterte said.

Not really because I am misogynist. I am a just a lover of a woman. Mamatay ako ‘pag walang babae, sa totoo lang," he added.

In a previous report by KAMI, President Duterte apologized for his outfit during the inauguration of the Bataan Government Center and Business Hub in Balanga City.

Duterte was married to Elizabeth Zimmerman and they have three children namely Paolo, Sara, and Baste. Their marriage got annulled in 2000.

The President is currently in a relationship with Honeylet Avanceña. They have a daughter named Veronica or “Kitty.”
