- Earlier, lawyer Jude Sabio said that Antonio Trillanes was behind the “Ang Totoong Narcolist”
- However, Trillanes denied the allegations against him thrown by Sabio
- The former senator said that he was just giving “aid” to Sabio
Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has finally broken his silence over the allegations thrown against him by his former ally and lawyer Jude Sabio.
KAMI learned that Sabio earlier accused Trillanes of working with Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy” in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News (author Mike Navallo), Trillanes has written an open letter to comment on the accusations of Sabio.
Through the letter, Trillanes explained that he was not involved with the controversy of Advincula and he never had any lawyer-client relationship with Sabio.
“Nung mga nakaraang buwan ay nanahimik ako sa mga pagmumura mo at mabibigat mong salita laban sakin hoping na marealize mo nang kusa ang kamalian sa mga sinasabi mo,” Trillanes said.
“Maliwanag mismo sa interview mo na hindi ako ang nagpagawa sayo ng billing na yan at hindi rin ako ang kliyente mo,” he added.
Trillanes also explained that he was just giving aid to Sabio.
“Sa madaling salita, tulong ang binibigay sauo buwan-buwan dahil nga naiintindihan ko ang kalagayan mo,” the former senator explained.

As reported by the Philippine Star (author Patricia Lourdes Viray), Sabio earlier claimed that Trillanes was hiring him as the lawyer of Advincula.
"My impression at that time, because he was recruiting me as a lawyer, it only means that he has a deep involvement with Bikoy," he said.
In a previous report by KAMI, a kidnapping case was filed against Trillanes by the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG). However, Trillanes has denied the allegations against him.
Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV is a retired Philippine Navy officer. He was known for leading the Oakwood Mutiny and Manila Peninsula siege.
