CPP founder Joma Sison faces arrest over ‘Inopacan massacre’

- Jose Maria Sison is now facing an arrest warrant over the “Inopacan massacre”

- 30 other people were accused of being involved in the case

- Sison has already commented over the issue

Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) founding chairman Jose Maria Sison and 30 more others faced arrest over the “Inopacan massacre” that happened in the 1980s.

KAMI learned that the warrant of arrest was dated on August 28, 2019.

In a report by GMA News Online, the warrant was issued by Judge Thelma Bunyi-Medina of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 32.

As reported by ABS-CBN News, Sison claimed that the list of the accused is “utterly stupid and obviously fabricated.”

Sison explained that some of the accused were jailed when the massacre happened and some were already dead.

The Inopacan massacre refers to the mass killing allegedly led by the New People’s Army (NPA), an armed wing of the CPP.
