- Nicanor Faeldon has already said goodbye to the Bureau of Corrections
- He has already packed his stuff from his office
- Faeldon was also all smiles as he shared a photo with his staff
Nicanor Faeldon has already packed his stuff a few hours after President Rodrigo Duterte publicly fired him as the head of Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).
KAMI learned that Faeldon was all smiles as he shared a photo with his staff at BuCor.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Faeldon said that he would obey the order of President Duterte.
"My commander-in-chief/appointing authority has spoken. I am a marine and a marine does as he is told. I most humbly bow to my commander-in-chief's order without any hard feelings," Faeldon said.

As reported by CNN Philippines, the decision of President Duterte came after reports surfaced that former Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez and others convicted of heinous crime were subjected to an early release under the good conduct time allowance (GCTA) law.
President Duterte explained that he called Faeldon to stop other releases. However, Faeldon just “tried to justify” the computations of the prisoners’ GCTA.
In a previous report by KAMI, President Duterte fired Faeldon as the director of BuCor on Wednesday. The President said that Faeldon “disobeyed” his order.
In 2016, Faeldon was appointed by President Duterte as the head of the Bureau of Corrections. He was also a Captain in the Philippine Marines.
