The male nurse who passed away due to the small private plane that crashed in Calamba, Laguna was set to fly to the United States to pursue his career.
KAMI learned that the victim, Kirk Owen Badiola, was the eldest of the three siblings and he was helping to provide for their family.
In a report by GMA News Online, his mother Corazon was appealing for assistance to have the remains of her son be brought back home to their town in Camarines Sur.
"Sana matulungan na mai-transport 'yung labi ng anak ko," Corazon said.

In a previous report by KAMI, an 11-seater King Air 350 was on a medical evacuation from Zamboanga del Norte to Manila on Sunday. The aircraft was carrying 9 passengers, including a patient and a medical team.
Unfortunately, the passengers passed away after the crash. Two residents in Barangay Pansol also got injured following the incident.
