Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has revealed that he has some names of the convicts who are set to be released.

KAMI learned that according to Lacson, 4 Chinese convicted drug lords were already released from the New Bilibid Prison under the custody of the Bureau of Corrections.

In a report by GMA News Online (author Amita Legaspi), the Chinese nationals were released to the custody of the Bureau of Immigration for possible deportation.

“At least 4 of those released already last August 16, are Chinese drug lords,” Lacson said.

“Actually, they are released to the custody of the Bureau of Immigration for possible deportation,” he added.

Sen. Lacson also mentioned that they had been trying to find the release order of former Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez if there really was.

“We’re trying to look for the copy of the August 20 release order in favor of Mayor Sanchez,” he said.

“But, apparently, nawawala ‘yung kopya,” Lacson explained.
