Over the weekend, Gerald Anderson's mother, Evangeline Opsima, made headlines after her controversial statement versus her son's ex-girlfriend, Bea Alonzo.

She also addressed Julia Barretto during an interview with TV Patrol South Central Mindanao on August 23, 2019.

However, KAMI learned that netizens claim that Mommy Vangie 'confirmed' the rumored relationship between Gerald and Julia.

During her statement, she told Julia, "Hindi rin kayo magtagal.." This prompted netizens to claim that the two are indeed in a relationship.

"Hindi ko nga sinasabing ayaw kita, no... Ang akin lang, advise ko lang sayo, please, ayaw ko kasi, may edad na rin si Gerald sayo. Hindi rin kayo magtagal dahil alam ko nasa industriya ka rin," Mommy Vangie said.
