Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said on Thursday that former Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez is now a “changed man.”
KAMI learned that Dela Rosa claimed that some Bureau of Corrections officers said that Sanchez has been wearing a skirt and make-up.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News, Dela Rosa said that Sanchez is now soft-spoken, according to the corrections officers.
“’Mabait na sir, hindi na siga, malumanay na, changed man na. Nakapalda na sir, naka-lipstick,’ ‘yun lang ang sabi nila. Ibig sabihin, hindi na siga, mabait na,” Dela Rosa said.
However, Dela Rosa claimed that he was not able to see Sanchez personally.

According to Senator Francis Tolentino, Dela Rosa told him that Sanchez has “transformed into another gender.”
In a previous report by KAMI, Senator Dela Rosa said that Dela Rosa deserves a second chance and to start a new life.
Reports have been claiming that Sanchez is one of the convicts who are subjected for early release due to “good conduct.”
Antonio Sanchez was convicted in 1995 after he was charged with rape and murder of UP Los Baños student Eileen Sarmenta and the slay of Allan Gomez in 1993.
