Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has launched the “ISKOnek” on Wednesday.
KAMI learned that the kiosk serves free Wi-Fi connection, phone calls, and a charging station at the Andres Bonifacio Monument or the “Kartilya ng Katipunan” shrine.
In a report by Manila Bulletin (author Erma Edera), Moreno said that the concept was taken from Wi-Fi booths in Manhattan, New York.
“Connectivity now is a necessity. This could help when you run out of data or load, you can use it,” he said.
