President Rodrigo Duterte shared on Tuesday that he will be watching the 2019 FIBA World Cup during his trip in China.
KAMI learned that the President also shared his thoughts on the first game of Gilas Pilipinas against Italy on August 31.
"Ang problema ang unang kalaban natin Italy," he said.
"Walang laban. China na lang tayo magpusta,” Duterte added.
Later on, the President said that the Philippine team could beat its next opponent, Angola.
“Ang sunod natin Angola, ah eto pwede natin ilibing ng buhay,” Duterte quipped.

During the same speech, President Duterte said that he will be going to China to have a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
He also mentioned that in the meeting, he will be discussing the international ruling over the West Philippine Sea.
In a previous report by KAMI, President Duterte said that China will continue to fish in the Philippine exclusive economic zone (EEZ) because of friendship.
