Manny Pacquiao’s boxing trunks which he used during the PacThurman fight last July 20 was sold in a charity event on Thursday.

The white trunks sold for a whopping $24,750 (nearly P1.3 million) at an auction by Charity Buzz and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Manny earlier said that he dedicated his fight with Thurman for ALS awareness through a Twitter post.

I am dedicating my fight against @KeithFThurmanJr to my friend and to ALS awareness. I will share more on this next week.

The proceeds of the auction will go to non-profit organizations fighting against Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as motor neurone disease (MND) or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a specific disease that causes the death of neurons controlling voluntary muscles.

Pacquiao won the boxing match through a split decision as earlier reported.
