Kapuso star Maine Mendoza has buzzed the online community after addressing a statement she made earlier about AlDub.

KAMI learned that the actress clarified her comment about AlDub after an entertainment website’s article headline about her prompted some fans to bash Maine.

According to the entertainment website’s article headline, Maine still believes that AlDub is still going strong, which prompted the actress to respond, “Lol at the reaction of some peeps. Ito para mas malinaw, hindi ako ang bumuo ng AlDub kaya wala akong karapatan ideclare kung meron pa or wala na. Both of us are doing okay & very much happy with our lives. Wala ho akong “matinding pangangailangan”. Tinanong ako, sumagot ako.”

Maine’s response, however, garnered mixed reactions from netizens. Here are some of their comments from entertainment site Fashion Pulis.

"Dare, wala kang matinding pangangailangan? Quit showbiz! Di ba asar na asar ka sa sistema? Why don’t just quit it? Wala ng AlDub. Stop using Alden."
"Akala ko ba real ka? Eh showbiz ka na rin girl! #NoToPlastic."
"Bakit papatulan pa kasi comments ng fans, yung PEP dapat ang sinabihan niya na icorrect ang headline if it's not to her liking. Sabagay patulera naman yan nuon pa basta hindi pabor sa kanya. Girl, hindi lahat gusto ka ano at hindi lahat ng galaw mo eh tama."
"Happy naman daw si Maine eh bakit mga fans niya sobra paring bitter?"
"My respect for Maine. The right answer, the right time. Sobra kasi i twist lahat ng ganap kay Maine ginagawang negative. She answered with class."
