“Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino shared memories of her late mother, former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino, on her 10th death anniversary.
KAMI learned that Kris took to social media her memory with her mom before the late President was diagnosed with cancer.
“Cute na Mom & i were both wearing fuchsia and had bright smiles on our faces,” she wrote.

In a report by the GMA News Online (author Margaret Claire Layug), the Aquino family gathered at the Manila Memorial Park on Thursday. The gathering is open to the public.
The tomb of Cory was filled with yellow-colored flowers. A mass will be held at the Power Plant Chapel in Rockwell Mall at 5:30 p.m. and people are welcome to attend it as well.
Corazon “Cory” Cojuangco Aquino is a key figure during the People Power Revolution, ending the regime of late President Ferdinand Marcos.
She served as the 11th President of the Philippines in 1986. She succumbed to colon cancer at the age of 76 on August 1, 2009.
