Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV has debunked the claims of Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy” over the controversial “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos.
KAMI learned that Trillanes insisted he was not part of the videos trying to discredit President Rodrigo Duterte and his family.
In an interview with ANC’s Early Edition, Trillanes said that Advincula was “trying to twist” some “facts” to “concoct his version of the story.”
"What this guy’s been doing is he’s trying to twist or embellish certain facts and the purpose of that meeting is to vet him. A lot of prospective witnesses have been vetted. If they don’t check out then I don’t present him or anybody to the public," Trillanes said.
"Definitely not, none of that happened. Again, you’re taking the word of a person who’s been convicted already of estafa,” he added.
During the interview, Trillanes questioned the claim of Advincula over the P500,000 that was not given to him.
"Would any stupid person take such a measly amount? What can you do with that? You're going to target a ruthless dictator, a self-confessed killer in Mr. Duterte and you’re just asking P500,000 which according to him was not even paid,” Trillanes said.

He also criticized the credibility of Advincula and his lawyer, Atty. Larry Gadon.
"On one hand you have credible public personalities, and on the other you have Bikoy and Larry Gadon--that’s the dream team of non-credibility,” the former senator said.

In a previous report by KAMI, Advincula shared his proof that Vice President Leni Robredo, Trillanes, and other opposition figures were involved in the controversial videos.
Advincula said that he was promised P500,000 by Trillanes. However, he claimed that it was given to him.
