Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has commented over the request of President Rodrigo Duterte to reinstate the capital punishment or death penalty.

KAMI learned that for Lacson, cops who are proven guilty of planting evidence should be penalized by death as well.

Kasi mabibitay ‘yung plinantingan mo, e.

Lacson said that the Senate would be discussing the different arguments regarding the death penalty. However, he mentioned that there is a higher chance for it to be passed in the new Senate.
