KAMI presents to you a list of seven possible next opponents for the Filipino legend:

1. Floyd Mayweather

Viewers were surprised when they saw Mayweather enter the ring during the fighters’ introduction at Pacquiao and Thurman’s fight. This means that Mayweather and Pacquiao are communicating with each other and might be planning a sequel to the highest-grossing boxing match of all time. Pacquiao has been more active in the ring than Mayweather so the result of the rematch might be different than their first fight.

2. Mikey Garcia

Garcia failed to win a title in the welterweight division in his lopsided loss to Errol Spence. He could get another crack at a world title if Pacquiao chooses him as his next opponent. This is a possibility since Garcia is one of the biggest names in the division and is a big threat to Pacquiao.

3. Terence Crawford

Crawford is considered as one of the best fighters in any division today. If he and Pacquiao were to fight, the Filipino boxer would be considered as a huge underdog. There have been rumors that before Pacquiao left Bob Arum, the latter was proposing a fight with Crawford.

4. Errol Spence

Errol Spence, along with Crawford, are the two top dogs in the welterweight division. He is big, skilfull, powerful, and young, and would be a huge favorite to beat Pacquiao in a fight. However, this fight is still a possibility since Pacquiao is always up for a difficult challenge.

5. Vasyl Lomachenko

The current pound-for-pound king Lomachenko fights in the 135-division while Pacquiao fights in the 147-divison. If they were to fight, they would probably meet in the 140-division. Lomachenko is in his prime but Pacquiao could still get a win due to the latter being bigger, stronger and more explosive than the Ukrainian fighter.

6. Amir Khan

Khan has already declined as a fighter but is still a big money fight for anyone in the welterweight division. Pacquiao might choose him as his next opponent if he wants a safe but financially-rewarding fight.

7. Keith Thurman

Thurman expressed his desire for a rematch with Pacquiao after his first loss. As for Pacquiao, he also seemed to be open to a rematch in the post-fight interview. The possible rematch would probably depend on the earnings of their first fight.
