Keith Thurman has accepted his defeat against Manny Pacquiao after their match at the MGM Grand Arena on Sunday.
KAMI learned that Thurman commended Pacquiao for his “great performance” in the boxing ring.
In a report by the GMA News (author Jannielym Ann Bigtas), Thurman aired his compliments for Pacquiao on Twitter.
"I’ve always said I’m not afraid to let my 0 go, if you can beat me — beat me. @MannyPacquiao beat me tonight. Hats off to the Senator on a great performance,” Thurman wrote.
Thurman faced his first-ever defeat with a record of 29-1. Meanwhile, Pacquiao bagged the WBA welterweight title a 67-7-2 record.
In a previous report by KAMI, Thurman was all praises for Pacquiao after their match. He noted that Pacquiao gave him “blessings” and “lessons.”
