Liza Soberano finally commented on the casting of Jane de Leon as the new Darna.

KAMI learned that Liza congratulated the 20-year-old actress for landing the iconic role.

In response, Jane thanked Liza for expressing her happiness for her.

Before Jane’s casting, Liza was supposed to play the Pinay superheroine. However, her severe finger injury forced her to back out from the project.
