Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson has commented on the recent passage of “Bawal Bastos” law or the Safe Spaces and Public Spaces Act.
KAMI learned that Lacson claimed that the new law could leave no one in the government.
“Bawal Bastos Law: walang matitira sa gobyerno,” Lacson quipped on Twitter.

As previously reported by KAMI, President Rodrigo Duterte signed into law a bill seeking to penalize any form of gender-based harassment in public spaces.
KAMI also reported earlier that the Palace insisted President Duterte would be the first to obey the new law. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo also emphasized that the President was “never bastos.”
