Luis Manzano finally decided to clarify his statement about the much-talked-about engagement of his ex-girlfriend Angel Locsin and her new partner Neil Arce.
KAMI learned that the popular actor became controversial after being asked about his reaction to the engagement of the sweet couple.
The “Minute To Win It” host claimed that his opinion is not needed on the issue and he does not want his name to be involved in the trending happening.
“Wala naman akong kinalaman sa kuwentong ‘yan. Wag niya akong idamay sa kuwentong iyan,” he reportedly quipped.
“Ni hindi kailangan ng opinion ko diyan o ng pangalan ko diyan. Basta wala akong kinalaman sa kuwentong iyan,” he added.
A lot of social media users speculated that Luis was referring to Angel that was why they criticized the actor for what he said.
Many of them even threw strong words to the prominent celebrity and they went below-the-belt after calling him “bitter.”
In a series of trending Twitter posts, the former “Petrang Kabayo” actor clarified his statement and revealed that he was misquoted by the media.
He emphasized that he spoke fast during the interview and this may have become the reason why he was misheard by the people who interviewed him.
