KAMI learned that Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has already filed a bill regarding the proposed department.
In a video shared by ABS-CBN News on Twitter, Go said that the bill will be certified as urgent by President Duterte.
Go noted that it is possible to create the department by December this year.
“Urgent po. Possible naman po na matapos kagad sa December,” Go said.
“Nag-file na po ako, sponsor, ako mismo mag-fo-follow up ulit non sa Senado,” he added.

Go also suggested having the annual MMFF twice a year and vowed to uplift the welfare of those working in the entertainment industry.
