The authorities are still investigating the robbery that happened at Metrobank Binondo branch on Thursday morning.
KAMI learned that one of the angles that the police are looking into is an “inside job.”
"It is very unusual na ang bank magbubukas ng ganung oras. This was before banking hours, around 8:43 a.m," Manila Police District Director Police Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr. said in DZMM Teleradyo.
"How come pinagbigyan and pinagbuksan 'yung mga tao? Bakit hindi man lang sila nakapag-react? Hindi man lang sila nakapag-prepare na wala naman silang ine-expect na bisita at that time?" he added.

Danao also clarified that only 5 men were involved in the robbing incident and not 7. Initial investigation suggested that 7 men robbed the bank.
"Originally po kasi 7 kasi in-assume natin na 'yung 2 nagbabantay sa labas, pero nung ni-review, 5 lang," Danao said.
In a previous report by KAMI, a CCTV footage showing the suspects going in and out of the bank surfaced online.
Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno also offered a P1 million bounty for the capture of the suspects.
