Senator Christopher “Bong” Go has recently joined the executive committee of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on Thursday.
KAMI learned that the neophyte senator suggested to conduct the annual MMFF twice a year.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News (author Dharel Placido), Go vowed to help the Filipino artists.
Magtulungan tayo,” he added.
Go said that he would uplift the welfare of the people working in the industry by passing bills that would benefit them.
Go used to be the Special Assistant to the President (SAP) of President Rodrigo Duterte. In the May 2019 elections, Go won as a senator and landed at the 3rd spot.
