Seven men robbed the Metrobank branch in Binondo, Manila on Thursday morning.
KAMI learned that the incident happened at around 8:40 in the morning, a few moments after the bank opened.
In a report by the CNN Philippines, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno confirmed that no one was reported injured during the incident.
"Ipinasok mga empleyado sa isang kwarto. Ang good news, wala naman nasawi o nasaktan na mga empleyado, but there is a possibility na may nakuhang pera. Ito ay kabubukas lang ng bangko," Moreno said.
As reported by GMA News, Moreno offered a P1 million reward for the capture of the suspects.
According to the police, the suspects tied down the security guards, tellers, and other employees.
Two of the suspects were wearing security guard uniforms and the other one was wearing a Grab uniform.
As of posting, the police are still investigating if there was cash or any items taken by the robbers.
