Kapuso actor Alden Richards could not hold back his tears during the media conference of his new movie with Kathryn Bernardo entitled “Hello, Love, Goodbye.”
KAMI learned that the prominent celebrity became emotional when he received kind words from Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina during the said event.
The veteran filmmaker expressed that Alden is one of the best and most humble actors that she handled in a project.
She also praised the former “Victor Magtanggol” star for his kindness and for being excellent in the field that he chose.
“Maraming, maraming salamat kay Alden. Ako po ay marami nang nakatrabaho sa 27 taon ko sa showbiz. This is my 25th film. And I have worked with so many actors na mababait at magagaling. Alden is one of them," she said.
"Sabi ko, mukhang marunong umarte itong batang ‘to. Nagkamali ako. Hindi siya marunong. Magaling siya,” she added.
After receiving praises from the director, Alden immediately approached Direk Cathy and hugged her in appreciation of what she said.
The audience can also be heard clapping and cheering for the Kapuso celebrity because of his reaction to the statement of the filmmaker.
“This is probably one of my highlights as an actor,” Alden wrote on his social media account after the conference.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to work with and learn from you, Direk. For your words of wisdom and encouragement, Direk Cathy...thank you,” he added.
