The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) conducted a clearing operation along Taft Avenue Extension in Baclaran on Wednesday.

KAMI learned that just a few hours after they were forced to evacuate the area, the illegal vendors started going back.

In a report by the ABS-CBN News, starting from the corner of EDSA highway to Taft Avenue Extension, many pedicabs and tricycles began to counter-flow and occupied most of the street.

Meanwhile, a clearing operation was also conducted in Manila City.

During a press briefing, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno revealed that blue tents were put up after the clearing operation he led. However, he said that these were unauthorized.

“Huwag na kayo bumili ng tent na blue para i-please ako. ‘Wag na kayong lilinya-linya ng blue. ‘Wag na kayo sumipsip sa akin," Moreno said.
