- Joseph “Erap” Estrada broke his silence on the performance so far of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno
- The previous mayor of Manila is not impressed by Moreno’s performance
- He said that the new mayor should not have removed the illegal vendors from the streets
Joseph “Erap” Estrada, the previous mayor of Manila, shared his thoughts on the performance so far of new Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
KAMI learned that Estrada is not impressed by the progress in the city so far.
According to the ex-mayor, Moreno should not have removed the illegal vendors from the streets since they have families to feed.
“Pag may makita tayong lugar na paglilipatan sa kanila. Ibig kong sabihin, dapat meron kang paglilipatan para kumita ‘yong mga tao.
“Kawawa naman ‘yong mga taong nagugutom.
“Madaling magpasikat eh, madali iyan. Isang utos ko lang, meron ‘yan.
“Ilang taon na ako naging Mayor. Sa San Juan, sa Maynila, naging President pa ako. Madali ‘yan iutos pero titingnan mo ‘yong kapakanan ng mga kapwa tao mo lalo na ‘yung mahihirap,” Estrada said, as quoted by the Manila Bulletin (authored by Gabriela Baron).
KAMI reported earlier that Estrada’s daughter, Jerika Ejercito, also criticized Moreno’s actions as the new mayor of Manila.
Isko Moreno has been married to Diana Lynn Ditan for 19 years already. They have five children – Vincent Patrick, born in 1998; Frances Diane, born in 2000; Joaquin Andre, born in 2001; Franco Dylan, born in 2006; and Drake Marcus, born in 2012.
