Melai Cantiveros finally decided to speak up regarding her trending and controversial interview with the mother of former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Diana Mackey.
KAMI learned that the prominent host was pushed by Diana's mom in the middle of their conversation during the recent episode of the popular reality show.
Diana’s mom also walked out of the interview because of too much emotion after knowing the results of public voting where her daughter fell short to become a part of the Big 4.
The mother already issued an apology regarding her actions and she also clarified that she got really emotional during the interview.
Melai also posted a statement regarding what happened and she thanked her fans for showing concerns and for sending her some words of comfort.
The celebrity cited that she fully understood the actions of Diana’s mom and that she was not hurt during the controversial interview.

She also pleaded the netizens to stop bashing the mother because they settled everything after their interview.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng concern nyu sa akin at nakakatouch na mga mensahe. Pero ako na nagsasabi na di nmn ako nasaktan at naintindihan ko ang pinagdadaanan ng mama ni Diana…
“Kaya wag na kayu mabahala kasi kahit ako dn alam ko na di para sa akin ang emusyun ni mami kundi sa sitwasyun… Natawa cya, nalungkot, nafrustrate, na normal na mararamdaman ng nanay pag hirapan o nasasaktan ang anak…
“After ng interview nag-hug pa kmi ni mami kasi kinomfort ko cya na dtu talaga sa outside world ang totoong laban. Wag na natin i-judge si mami at magmahalan nlang tayu,” Melai quipped.
