Gerard Pizarras shared a collage showing two pictures of him with his wife Jan Marini. The first picture was taken when Jan was still 18, and he was 21 years old. The second photo was taken recently. Based on the photo, Jan is now 40 years old while Gerard is 43.
In the caption of the photo, Gerard wrote, "A life with Jesus. "
Jan Marini and Gerard Pizarras first met on the set of Mula sa Puso with Claudine Barretto, Rico Yan, and Diether Ocampo. According to Jan on the first taping day, the staff - from the personal assistants to the executive producer - had only good words for Gerard. But when Gerard finally came into the set, Jan was not so impressed as Gerard was so thin back then.
Jan admitted that he had proven to be up to the challenge of the acting and delivered the lines quite well. At first, they didn't even talk to each other as Jan was a snob and Gerard was new to showbiz. Gerard did his very best to reach out to Jan.

The amusing part is that they began speaking to each other because of the colorful socks that Gerard wore intentionally thinking it will capture the attention of Jan. They formally became a pair after a month of courting.
Gerard frequently drives her to work, and he doesn't mind, according to a blog entry by Jan at Steemit.com. He also drives their children to school before they finally decided that their children be homeschooled.
Jan Marini Alano is an actress from the Philippines. She started her showbiz career in Ang TV, ABS-CBN’s teen-oriented gag/variety show in the early 1990s.
