Bongbong Marcos has issued an official statement following the food poisoning incident during his mother, Imelda Marcos' 90th birthday celebration.
According to the politician, the organizers are already investigating the incident.
Bongbong added that they are willing to help the people who have been affected by this matter.
In an Instagram post, the public servant uploaded a photo of his response to the food poisoning case.
It can be recalled that around 137 guests out of the more than 200 people who attended the party at the Ynares Sports Complex in Pasig City experienced symptoms of food poisoning from the adobo that was served during the event.
They were then assisted by a medical team of the Philippine Red Cross while some were taken to the Rizal Medical Center for treatment.

In a previous report by , around 137 guests at Imelda Marcos’ party get rushed to the hospital due to alleged food poisoning.
One of the highlights of her party was the cakes featuring different infrastructures built during the Marcos regime.
