It has been recently reported that many guests at the 90th birthday celebration of former First Lady Imelda Marcos were rushed to the hospital after experiencing dizziness and nausea.
KAMI learned initial reports cited alleged food poisoning over adobo as the reason for the hospitalization.
In a report by the News5 Aksyon, the birthday celebration happened at the Ynares Sports Complex in Pasig City.
The Pasig City Health Office has confirmed that as of 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, about 137 guests were rushed to public hospitals.
Senator Richard Gordon said on Twitter that a medical team of the Philippine Red Cross is currently responding to the alleged poisoning and some were transported to the Rizal Medical Center.
In a previous report by KAMI, Imelda had a celebration at the Malacañang of the North last Saturday, just two days before her birthday on July 2.
