KAMI learned that President Duterte is ready to have 'talks over coffee' with the military should they oppose him.

In a report by ABS-CBN News (author Joyce Balancio), the President delivered a speech during the 72nd anniversary of the Philippine Air Force.

"Because I know that the Armed Forces and the police will have to decide one day, somehow. Do not do it please during my term. I told you before, kung ayaw ninyo ako, do not bring your weapons and mechanized iron there,” President Duterte said.

“Just call me, we will coffee, and I am ready to say, 'It’s yours,'" he added.

As reported by the GMA News (author Anna Felicia Bajo), the AFP said there will be no coup d’état against the Duterte administration.

"We are all guided by our transformation road map and our soldiers have so much to look forward to in our modernization program that is 100 percent supported by the government,” AFP public affairs office chief Colonel Noel Detoyato.

"Besides, we are better compensated than before and we have to give back by serving the Filipinos with all our heart,” he added.
