A 37-year-old father has gone viral, after he shared how he would literally run more than 16 kilometers daily just to arrive home early.

KAMI learned that Jayson King Tan has made it his routine to run from Pasay to Malabon after work is done.

This distance is a staggering 16 kms. and he would be able to cover it in approximately an hour.

The reason why this father has opted for this is that he wanted to spend more time with his children.

As what he shared in Moms and Babies, Jayson stated that what started it all was when his daughter asked him to be home early.

So he was able to hit two birds with one stone, he got for himself a new personal record and at the same time, he indeed arrived home early.

“I’m really glad that I was able to reach our home, and they are still awake. I’m a man who believes to always make time for family. If there’s still time, I make sure that I play with my kids. Their happiness and laughter are the best rewards I received. [I’m] so glad that with their young age, they appreciated the effort I am trying to do for them," said Jayson.

Indeed, Jayson has become an inspiration for dads and moms. As they say, when there's a will, there's a way.
