Bea Patricia Magtanong, the newly-crowned Binibining Pilipinas - International, unhesitatingly admitted in an interview that she always feels guilty every time she approaches Gazini Ganados.
KAMI learned that the beauty queen from Bataan made the revelation during her guesting on the recent episode of “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
Bea initially expressed that she really wanted to bring home the Miss Universe - Philippines crown during the Coronation Night because she trained so hard for it.
However, the Filipina model stated that she is happy for winning the Binibining Pilipinas – International title and that she is already excited for the prestigious pageant in Japan.
“I did want the Miss Universe crown. It’s what I worked for, it’s what I had my eyes on, it’s what I prayed for. But everything happens for a reason…” she quipped.
“International is a great crown, it’s a great pageant. We have produced so many amazing winners from the Miss International pageant. I’m very, very happy with my crown…” she added.
When asked about her relationship with Gazini, the lawyer/beauty queen revealed that she always feels guilty for the negative comments that the newly-crowned Miss Universe - Philippines often receives.
Bea claimed that some of the heavy criticisms that Gazini gets came from her fans who believed that she is more deserving of the Miss Universe – Philippines crown.
“Every time I approach her, I have this guilt. Because I know that she is getting attacked [by my followers],” she stated.
“Gazini was so nice. On photos, she’s so fierce and so strong but she’s such a sweet person…” she concluded.
