Alwyn Uytingco reminisced the day their 2nd baby was born. He penned a sweet birthday post for Baby Alessi's 1st Birthday.

According to him, his wife Jennica opted to undergo water birthing, so they did it at home.

They went to the hospital for a checkup, and they had to hurry home to prepare as his wife was about to give birth. They traveled for 45 minutes because of the rainy weather which caused a 'hellish' traffic jam.

According to Alwyn, he felt nervous heading home with Jennica's contractions getting more frequent.

They made it home safely, but 30 minutes after arriving, Jennica gave birth to Alessi. The midwife was not able to attend to them immediately because she also got stuck in traffic.

Jennica's post about undergoing water birth elicited mixed reactions from the netizens as reported earlier by KAMI. They also opted for lotus birthing which means leaving the umbilical cord uncut after childbirth so that the baby is left attached to the placenta until the cord naturally separates at the umbilicus.
