Vice Ganda immediately received criticisms from a lot of social media users after he had a disagreement with a daily contestant on 'It’s Showtime.'

KAMI learned that the comedian had a serious conversation with a 'Tawag Ng Tanghalan' contender about the need to avoid the culture of debt.

He later on noticed that the contender was rebutting his arguments so he decided to cut the conversation by issuing a “controversial” statement.

Because of this, the “Unkabogable Star” received negative comments from netizens who claimed that the actor also did not understand the contestant’s point.

Some also did not agree with the statement of Vice that a person must avoid borrowing money from other people, especially from his or her friends.

Here are some of their comments:

“Hindi naman masama ang mangutang. The richest people, malalaki rin ang utang nila. Lahat ng negosyo, may utang. But we have to be educated about it.”
“Easy for them to say, eh [kapag may] mall show, 2 oras lang pero ang talent fee nila is 100k.”
“It’s easy for them to say that because they’re rich lol.”
