- Senator Antonio Trillanes IV responded to the recent comment of Senator-elect Imee Marcos

- Marcos earlier said that she was planning to have Trillanes’ office “blessed” before occupying it
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV responded to the plan of Senator-elect Imee Marcos to have his office “blessed” before occupying it.
KAMI learned that for Trillanes, it would be a good thing if the religious ritual would help Marcos fulfill her mandate as a new senator.
“If the religious ritual is meant to help her fulfill her mandate as a newly-elected Senator, then that’s a good thing,” he said on Twitter.
However, Trillanes also mentioned in his statement that Marcos would be a hypocrite if she was trying to imply that he was a bad person.
“But if she's saying it to insinuate na masama akong tao, then sobrang ka-ipokritohan naman yun, even for a Marcos,” Trillanes stated.
In a previous report by KAMI, Marcos said that she received the office of Trillanes in the Senate. However, she quipped that she was planning to do rituals with some Igorots in the room first before occupying it.
