President Rodrigo Duterte serenaded his daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and his former wife Elizabeth Zimmerman at the thanksgiving party of Hugpong ng Pagbabago on Monday.
KAMI learned from GMA News (author Llanesca Panti) that President Duterte dedicated the song “Wind Beneath My Wings” for his daughter.
Meanwhile, President Duterte sang “Ikaw” for Zimmerman. After singing, Duterte said, "For the record, I love you Elizabeth Zimmerman."
After being persuaded by the President, Sara started singing “Bed of Roses” for their guests. Senator-elect Imee Marcos also went on stage to sing “Eye of the Tiger.”
President Duterte was joined by the new Senators Bong Go, Bato dela Rosa, Francis Tolentino, Bong Revilla, Imee Marcos, Pia Cayetano, and House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
In a previous report by KAMI, President Duterte commented about the collision of Filipino and Chinese vessel in the Reed Bank. He said that the ramming incident was a “maritime incident.”
